In the Past 12 Months, We've Photographed 100 Courageous WomenSo many women in our generation and in generations before us do not have a space to release what plagues them. It is our hope that we, as the human race, view tears and crying, not as a weakness, but as a means to express what we as people (especially women) seek to transform into positives in our lives. The Crying Girl Movement challenges women to identify and utilize their source of inner strength. It's an affirmation of the infinite possibilities that exist when we speak our truth. It's an assertion of who we are and a recognition that we can face adversity, overcome, and heal through love. When You Go Through Life You Feel Like Your Alone&&Nobody Will Ever Understand The Pain Or Hurt Your Going Through...But Looking At These Other Women Express Either A Low Or High Point In Thier Life When They Have Shed A Few Tears It Makes You Realize That Your Not Alone Someone Out There Has Been Where You Are Or In Worst Situations...Women Coming And Standing Together Leaning On One Anothers Strength In Order To Make It Through Their Hardships To Accomplish Greater Things That Life Has To Offer....With This Movement It Makes Me Proud To Be A "Crying Girl" Because With Those Tears Comes Strength And Growth.

I am 75 now and don't cry over life's happenings too often, but when I do, it bursts forth- a dam breaking, comes from deep inside and stops suddenly, done, refreshed, eager to keep moving forward, breathe, enjoy life, create life.

Great movement for women to become involved in, Yvonne. We all have those moments in our lives, when we reach a tipping point and see that our darkest hour can be transformed and shine some light out in to the world to possibly light someone else's way. We all have a time when we cried and wondered if we would ever rise above the pain. And we do. Human beings have an inner resilience which we can call on to support both ourselves and then to share with others. All the best with your movement! It is sure to help many.

It is fitting to give importance to those who had struggled to resume life after losing their loved ones.
